Love our chillax chairs. Nice and comfy, but also practical (can eat dinner at the table with out sinking )

Bought for my daughters (2&4) as I wanted matching sleeping bags. These are so soft and have lots of zip configurations . I even slept in one one night and it was reassuring to know how warm my girls were. Side note-if you want a pillow, the Kmart toddler pillows fit nicely in the pillow pocket

I received my Trangia 25-1UL today and decided to seize the day and cook dinner on it this windy Wellington evening. I put it through its paces with a from-scratch pasta sauce with risoni. I started sautéing an onion with Italian bacon for 10 mins, added garlic, herbs, spice, porcini mushrooms and tomato paste in the fry pan. All good and easy to deglaze. Transferred to the larger saucepan and added a tin of tomatoes and cup of vegetable stock and once bubbling added the risoni and cooked for 15 mins. Removed from the heat and then boiled the kettle (I bought the one that goes with this cook-set). The only issue was that I misjudged the amount of fuel to put in the burner and it ran out after I finished with the frypan. I was too cautious! Easily rectified by a refill once the cooker cooled down which was pretty quick due to the wind! Overall a seamless cooking experience in windy conditions - much less stressful than doing the same on my tramping gas cooker. The Trangia is super stable and seemingly oblivious to the wind. A superb design that’s stood the test of time. The bulkiness of this set is more than made up by it’s performance.

This tent is AMAZING!! Used for 8weeks straight, and pitched up in Central Otago (overlooking Clyde dam) while I did an orchard season. Pitched on unforgiving ground, endured some epic wind spells and a good rain/hail storm, this tent stood up to it all!! I honestly can't rave about this tent enough, everyone who was living around me in cabins etc were very impressed and mentioned often 'best advertisement' for this tent/brand. It definitely fooled other tenters new to the area, 'well that tent is OK let's put ours up next to it'....yup next wind they were slapped up against mine oops. The blackout feature is a bonus and worth it. On the site i pitched it we used cut down warratahs with D shackles for main fixing points as we knew about hard ground/wind etc yeah we really tested this tent....secondary pegs were from H&F then standard tent pegs for the rest of guy ropes. The pegs that come with tent are ample though for a more kinder camp site of grass :-) as I did test run on backyard before venturing Central. The 3 rooms ideal I used as storage/living/bedroom and front porch as kitchen space.

Solid table where everything seems to be just in the right place.
