At first, I couldn't decide between a 300 or a 450 shelter until I finally decided on purchasing the 450 shelter due to a side wall included without extra cost. Had I gone for 300 shelter and had to purchase a sidewall as well, it would almost be the same price for a 450 shelter! Anyway, the 450 shelter arrived and after watching a vid clip online, quickly assembled in our backyard. It was pretty massive! Tall as well. Need to be on tiptoe to hold a middle piece up during assembling and for first-timers, at least 3 people to help set it up. We had our picnic table under there plus 2 loungers and honestly, could fit a tribe under there and/or a swimming pool lol. It had also drawn admiration and questions from our neighbors. Was bought originally for beach use but is too big. May look into getting the smaller 300 shelter and figure out a way to secure with sand pegs. I think such a smaller shelter would be blimming awesome at the beach! Advantages: 1. HUGE and tall 2. Is waterproof 3. Sturdy structure 4. very easy to assemble once you're familiar with its assembling ;-) Would I recommend it? Hell yes! Will keep the big one for backyard sheltering and get the smaller one for beach use ;-)
