Whether going for a night or a fortnight, there is one part of enjoying the outdoors that isn’t so enjoyable – setting up and packing up your tent. There is no mistaking the fact that it feels like a chore. But, there is an option.
By using modern design techniques specifically aimed at reducing set up time, it does not have to feel that way anymore. The Fast Frame series of tents combine the swift set up frame design with features and high quality materials you’d expect from a much more expensive touring styled tent.
WHY IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER DESIGNS?
Simplicity in design is crucial, especially if you are going to be using this as your shelter for touring holidays. The Fast Frame design makes efficient use of pivoting points to reduce the overall moving parts of the design. As well, a torsion system is integrated into the design, to improve its stability through the set up and pack down process.
Despite a lot of effort going into the frame design, there has not been a compromise on the other essential features of the tent. Ripstop 150 denier polyester material is used on the fly sheet and inner tent – twice the thickness of a normal fly sheet material, and up to three times the thickness of normal inner tent material. But, it isn’t just quality features that have been included, simple features that make your tent more liveable have been included too.
LAYOUTS THAT MAXIMISE YOUR LIVING SPACE
Often fast folding designs skimp on certain features, often the one they do miss is a functional awning area. The Fast Frame series uses a minimum awning length of 1.8 m on all models. As well, a full range of walls and floors have been purpose designed to make the awning an extra living space if and when required.
